Spooky Oreo Milkshake Recipe

“Sweeten your Halloween festivities with spooky Oreo milkshakes! These milkshakes are made with fresh milk, fluffy vanilla ice cream and lots and lots of Oreo cookies.
Enjoy your summer in a cool and stylish way!!!

Materials & Ingredients: 

• 115 g (4 oz) milk or dark chocolate, 
• chopped silver sprinkles 350 ml (1 1/2 cups) cold milk (you can use either full fat or skimmed milk according to your preference) 
• 6 generous scoops vanilla ice cream 
• 1 tsp vanilla extract 8 finely ground Oreos 
• 2 crushed Oreos 
• 2 Oreos to decorate 
• 100 ml (1/2 cup) 
• whipping cream 
• 2 jars or glasses paper straws printable wrapper printable straw flags self-adhesive paper 
• Tools 
• microwave-safe bowl 
• rubber spatula 
• food processor 
• blender 
• hand-held or stand mixer with the whisk attachment 
• mixing bowl 
• spoon 
• disposable piping (pastry) bag 
• large, open star piping tip

 Instructions: 

1) Print the printables 
Print the wrappers and straw flags on self-adhesive paper and cut out the printables along the grey lines. We recommend adjusting the printer’s setting to print at the highest quality for best results. Instead of self-adhesive paper you can also print on regular paper and use glue to attach the printables.

2) Prep the jars and paper straws 
Place the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in the microwave set on medium-high for 20 seconds. Take out the bowl and stir with a rubber spatula. Repeat this process until the chocolate has completely melted. Dip the rim of the jar or glass in the chocolate and turn the jar until the rim is completely covered in chocolate. While the chocolate is still warm, spread silver sprinkles on the rim attach the wrapper and place in the fridge for 30 minutes so the chocolate can set.

3) Prep the Oreos 
Place 8 Oreo cookies in a food processor blender and blitz until the cookies become fine crumbs. Break two another Oreos into small bits.

4) Mix the ingredients 
Whip the cream until soft peaks form and place in the refrigerator for later. Add the vanilla ice cream, milk, Oreo crumbs and vanilla extract to a blender and pulse until well-combined. Pour the milkshake into the prepared jars or glasses and top the milkshake with a swirl of whipped cream using a disposable piping bag and a large, open star piping tip. Place a paper straw and one Oreo into each drink and sprinkle with the crushed Oreos. Enjoy immediately.
